it’s a dog’s world afterall
bites me down the halls
i think i’m going to give up some licks
and practice all my favorite tricks

the cowboys watch the dogs
caus’ canines control it all
biting, barking, and carrying a stick
and chasing all the squirrels and chicks

with a leg raised up when he see’s fit
marking all the fields a bit
when he goes to check out his turf
a happy dog to roll in the dirt

   he’s messing with my mind
    it’s a DOG's WORLD now---

working for a dime
with ASTRO on my mind
now what could i possibly think
my world is full of papers and ink
